Heat protection was the focus of May and June. Here at the BC, we learned about heat exhaustion versus heat stroke, and how to keep cool when the temperatures are in the triple digits! We researched how to reduce water runoff, and made a system to get our outdoor plants the water they need with as little waste as possible. Summer is far from over in our nation, so we all need to remember to protect ourselves and others from the heat. Do you feel prepared for the summer?
